Dear Mom,
I didn't forget your birthday, just didn't sit down long enough to write to you. As you know I stay busy with your grandaughters. We wouldn't have it any other way would we! They both wished you a Happy B-day and I know you heard them. Dan and I celebrated 22 years of marriage and remembered all our good times together on your b/day and our anniversary. I was looking at old photos the other day and it just seemed like yesterday all those wonderful times we had together. Just now memories that will always be in my heart. It's tough getting older without you here to share all the special moments in our lives and just everyday things. I wonder sometimes if people that have their mom's with them everyday really appeciate what they have.
Dad is doing fine, enjoying his Tennessee life. We are going to visit him soon. Talk to you again soon and come visit me.

Dear Mom,
I am writing to you two days early because I will be camping near you at Myakka State Park. There isn't any WiFi connection out in the woods. LOL! And there is no cell phone reception so the girls will go without a few days. We are bringing the cards and board games to spend time together. I know you'll be there with us as always. I find it hard to believe it's been 3 years now. I can remember the last day I saw you. You weren't yourself anymore and that saddned us all. I miss the old full of spunk mom I once had. But I know that you are now pain free and dancing in Heaven. It's hard not having a mom here anymore and knowing I still have many years to come (I hope) and watch the M&M grow up to be moms themselves. I wish you were here to share that with me. So many times I wish you were here. You are missed by dad too. You probably know already Greg is up there too now. I'm sure Dad would want you to tell him hi for him.

Happy Easter De, Walt, and Mom. I miss all of you so much. Came home from church where they played How Great Thou Art, and it brought back so many memories, some happy, some sad. but then i came home De, went right to the freezer and popped a frozen peep in my mouth. Hi De, just a note to tell you, mom and Walt that i am almost fully recovered from my stroke, finally. out of wheel chair, off walker, and on cane only now. I am at 90-93% recovered and drs. say that will probably get as far as it will be. But hey, i am very happy with that. please share this good news with mom and Walt. As you know, Dan and I are spending our 20 year anniversary today. We are taking a cruise without the girls. I can remember 20 years ago today it was your birthday and my wedding. Life was so much easier then....Well, love you lots and Michelle and Megan miss you dearly. Michelle still sleeps with your favorite eeyore and Megan found a Tropicana notebook the other day and you had written to her in it. She said "mom I have to keep this". We miss you everyday. The holidays are not the same without you. Give Roxie a kiss for us. We miss her too but we know she is with you. Dad is doing well in Tennessee. He had a tornando 15 miles from his house yesterday, thank you for looking out for him and keeping him safe. We had a few scares these past few weeks with Aunt Collieen and Dan's mother. Happy 4th and happy early birthday grandma!! There were lots of fireworks by our house!Michelle and I made blankets. Mine had horses and Michelle's had flowers. We had fun! My dance recital was great. It was my 5th year I got a 5 year trophy from my dance school. Our song was Take Off With Us. We had props and they were two 12 feet ladders and two 6 feet ladders. I was on top of one of the 12 foot ladders. It was scary!!! But at the same time FUN!! I'm going to do dance next year too! Same class, jazz. Michelle is thinking about doing dance again. She would be doing acrobatics. Well I got to be going now talk to you later grandma.

Dede, I'll never forget my first trip to Florida when we ran around the state together. We were mistaken for sisters, we made crazy home videos, we made our aunts and uncle laugh, and we talked each night in the dark well into the morning hours. It renewed our family bond and friendship!

Dear Mom,
My words cannot express how much I love you. I have learned so much from you. I will never forget all our wonderful times together. I will cherish every memory of you forever. You have given me so much. I will miss you everyday. I promise you that your granddaughter's will be taken care of and you will not have to worry. They too will never forget you.
I wish I could hold your hand one more time, kiss your soft cheek, and say everything will be ok. I am so sorry you had to suffer the way you did. We suffered right along with you. But now you are free from all your pain.
