Bradenton, Florida - Marjorie Ann "Marge" Pollard Turbeville went to be with her Savior on January 25, 2023. Born February 18, 1931 in Drumright, OK, Marge moved to Bradenton as a child. She married her high school sweetheart, Burl Turbeville, in 1947 and they were happily married for 72 years. Marge was a charter member of West Bradenton Baptist Church where she led GAs, Sunday School and Women's Missionary Union. She directed many weddings and enjoyed gifting each bride a white Bible. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Bradenton for 33 years where she remained a member. Marge proudly volunteered as a poll worker and in various women's service groups. Marge and Burl enjoyed spending summers on Scaly Mountain, NC where they owned a second home. Marge was welcomed into heaven by her husband, Burl (2019). She is survived by her three children; Toni (Ron) Shroyer of Bradenton, Cathy (Gary) Russ of Myakka and John (Virgie) Turbeville, III of Bradenton; sister-in-law, Yvonne (Joe) Pence of Winter Park; five grandchildren; Shane (Betsy) Russ, Amy (Mark) Royall, Jaimee Russ Gray, Courtney (Jeremy) Kersey and Jill Shroyer; 15 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter. Private Services will be held at a later date. Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
