Bradenton, Florida - William E. "Billy" Wilson, III died February 13, 20233 at home.
Born in Bradenton, FL on May 3, 1952, he was a lifelong resident. He started The Woodcrafters Custom Cabinets in 1978 and worked until November 2022. He loved fishing, boating, the outdoors, as well as, cooking and grilling for family and friends. He dedicated his life to his family and his business.
He was predeceased by his parents; Wm. E. Wilson, Jr., Jeanne Trimble Wilson Garrison; and step-father, Richard Neil Garrison. Also, by his wife, Pamela Wilson; and daughter, Lauren Wilson. He is survived by daughter, Darinda Wilson; son, William E. Wilson IV; grandchildren; Kaiden Wilson, Freya Jeanne Wilson, Thomas Anderson, Troy Mack; sisters; Susan Wilson Knowles (Timothy) and Libbey Wilson Cherko; nephews; Matthew McNeal, Kyle Cherko, Albert Knowles and William Knowles all of Bradenton, FL.
Billy's kindness and zest for life will be sorely missed by family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on May 6th, 2023 at Christ Episcopal Church at 1:00 PM followed by a Reception/Celebration of Life at the Meadowcroft Clubhouse, 5701 15th Ave. W., Bradenton, FL.

Our sincere condolences to the family, classmates, and friends of our Manatee High School Class of 1970 Alumnus.
Billy went above and beyond in helping us honor our forty-nine Alumni killed in the line of duty by designing, building, and installing, at his cost, the display in the lobby of the Davis Building at Manatee High School. We will forever be grateful to him.
