Jason Schwab

1977 - 2020

RIXFORD - Jason E. "Schwabby" Schwab, 43, of School Street, Rixford, passed away Monday (Dec. 28, 2020) at the Olean (N.Y.) General Hospital following complications from heart surgery.
Born on Feb. 6, 1977, he was the son of Edward and Janice Chapman Schwab.
He was set to marry his high school sweetheart, Crystal Haupt, on Dec. 31st, 2020.
Jason was a 1995 graduate of Otto-Eldred High School and he had been a lifelong resident of Rixford.
He was employed by Lumen, where he was a circuit designer and solutions architect. He was also a longtime member of the Otto Township Fire Department.
Schwabby was a fanatical Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He loved trail riding on his side-by- side and also enjoyed hunting and fishing, as well as cleaning and grilling 12 months of the year. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents of Duke Center and his soon-to-be wife, he is survived by his children, Jaydon Schwab, at home, Travis (Billie-Jo) Haupt of Johnsonburg, and Haylee Frederick of Bradford; niece and nephews, Kylie Stuck (Zahel Howard) and Garret Stuck, both at home as well as one sister, Brandy (Jim) Stuck of Duke Center.
Friends may call on Thursday (Dec. 31st, 2020) at the Frame Funeral Home, Eldred from 2 to
4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday (Jan. 1, 2021) at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Bruce Ireland officiating. Burial will be in the Duke Center Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Otto Township Fire Hall.
