I wish I'd found this sooner! My memories of staying at the inn in Bondville as a child in the '50s are among my happiest. Earl was a good friend to my father (a New York doctor raised in Wilmington), and your mother made us all feel so welcome: she kept me supplied with orange-pineapple ice cream and arranged to have a calf pastured n the field behind the inn for me to play with. We visiting children thought that as a high-schooler, you, Becky, were the coolest person in the world -- I'm pretty sure you were. I'm very happy to learn, even so late, that Earl had a good long life and got to enjoy so many generations. Love and gratitude from a child-turned-grandmother.

Becky - Just talked to Terry Hosley and he told me about your Dad. Both Ron and I are so sorry to hear about him. ROn has so many great memories of working with and for him when much younger and I always remember times at your house when we were growing up...We always enjoyed his sense of humor, even though I remember your Mom didn't always appreciate it....I will be calling you soon. Our thoughts are with you.....Ron and Emily
