Mary Jackson Obituary
Mary was born to Leonard R. Smith and Christine Livsey Smith on August 9, 1927, in Schenectady, N.Y. As a young woman Mary worked for the General Electric Company in Schenectady, where she met her future husband, Jim.
They raised their family in Whitesboro, N.Y., and Westford, Mass. Mary sang in multiple church choirs and with the Sweet Adeline's choral group in Massachusetts.
Jim and Mary retired to Calabash from Westford, Mass., in 1992.
Mary was the mother of Steven Jackson of Boston, Mass., Carol Lynn Jackson (deceased), Douglas Jackson of Supply, and Beth Ann Doody of Pelham, N.H.
She is also survived by two grandchildren, Michael Edward Jackson of Turners Fall, Mass., and Lara Jackson of San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua.
Plans for a Memorial Service will be determined by the family.

I remember the Jacksons. I lived on Hughes St. in Whitesboro right across from them. I played with Steve and Carol. i'm very sorry for your loss.

So sorry to hear about Mrs.Mary she was a amazing lady! I used to look foward to my cleaning day at their home , it took me a little longer cause I would always stop and chat with both Mary & Jim . They both will be sorely missed! May God bless & comfort their family.
