of Blasdell, entered into rest September 1, 2023. Beloved husband of Joan P. (nee Mangano) Buchheit; devoted father of Cynthia (Norbert) Bleem, Michelle, Gregory, Kevin, Glenn, and the late Jeffrey Buchheit; cherished grandfather of Morgan, Dakota (Alisha) Bleem, Emily Buchheit, Maria (Anthony) DiStefano, Stacie (Josh) Radecki, and Jason Buchheit; adored great-grandfather of Matthew DiStefano and Graer Bleem; loving son of the late Francis and Theresa Buchheit; predeceased by two brothers; also survived by many family and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave. on Wednesday (September 13th) from 3-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, 3148 Abbott Rd., Orchard Park on Thursday morning at 10 o'clock, please assemble at Church. Inurnment Hillcrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in David's name may be made to the American Cancer Society. Please share online condolences at www.lombardofuneralhome.com.

I´m so very sorry for the family´s loss. He always had a way to make me smile, make me feel comfortable and would always say "when you want to go on the lake to fish". I can still hear his voice with silly way he would say "I´m tiiired" I still say it the same way to this day and he always pops in my mind when I do. May he rest in peace.

Worked with Dave for 13 years in Roll Shop at Bethlehem Steel. He was a great friend and I learned a lot from him
