Jane Louise GOSDEN

GOSDEN - Jane Louise (nee Outerson) Of Buffalo, NY, July 6, 2014, age 94. Born March 20, 1920 in Columbus, OH. Wife of the late Charles E. "Buck" Gosden; dear mother of Nancy E. (Brian) Ellis, Michael A. (Sharon), Susan M., Mark W. and the late Daniel E. (Carmella) and Patricia A. Gosden; daughter of the late Daniel and Emma (nee Mitchell) Outerson; sister of the late Gretchen (Robert) Gannon and Richard (Marion) Outerson; grandmother of Mark LaGreca, Christopher (Lynnette) Ellis and Cynthia Ellis; also survived by seven great-grandchildren. She lived her life in Buffalo, spent many summers at Long Beach, Ontario while growing up, graduated from Bennett High School and worked as a secretary for Curtiss-Wright during the 1940s. She married in 1945 and raised her family, living 55 years on Brinton St. in Buffalo. The family spent many enjoyable summers at Crystal Beach, Ontario. After her children were grown, she worked for approx. 20 years in the Watch & Diamond Dept. for Tegler's Jewelers in the AM&A's store in the University Plaza. She was a loving wife and mother with a wonderful sense of humor and took great interest in her family and friends. She enjoyed music, history and travel. Friends may call Wednesday 4-8 PM at the LESTER H. WEDEKINDT INC. FUNERAL HOME, 3290 Delaware Ave., where Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 11 AM.
