How can it be 5 years since you left the physical world? You left too soon. You left too suddenly. Not even a chance to say goodbye. I think about you often and wish you were still here.

Dear Lynn Nuwer Steivater,
We were so sorry to learn of Jeffrey's sudden and unexpected death. He was so young and we are sure he will be missed by you and his family. Being next-door neighbors at Silver Bay, we didn't know Jeff well, but did see how happy and content you both were sharing good times at the beach. Please know our thoughts, love, prayers, and deepest sympathy are with you and Jeff's family at this difficult time.

Dear Dick and Ann,
I am so so sorry to hear of Jeffery's passing. Katherine told Mary Beth and I last week. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family at this time. I am now sure he is walking with the Angels as Mary Beth has told me you both raised the most beautiful family a mother and father could have and ask for.

It was with incredible sadness that I learned of Jeff,s passing. He was a star among a family of stars and brought pride, caring and laughter to his family and friends. He left this world much too
early. May all of your memories and times together buffer some of the pain you all feel in the present. Our thoughts are with each of you in this time of deep sorrow.

The Stievaters welcomed me into their home going back to when Lynn and I were at school together in the early '80s. I knew them all. Jeff was quiet in those days, and through high school, but he was always smiling and always kind. To the Stievater Family, I'm so very very sorry for your enormous loss. May you all find peace, and comfort in each other during this time.

This is heart-wrenching. Jeff was always very good people. Treated you like you wanted to be treated. Not that he couldn't be wry, or get perturbed, but I don't recall a single instance where he was ever mean. And he was almost always in good cheer when I knew him in both high school and college. Jeff, you're going to be missed. So sorry. CHS c/o '88.

We are sorry for your loss and wanted to share to bring some light to this dark time. We held a staff meeting to enable people to reflect on Jeff and how he impacted their lives. Each person had a wonderful story or two to share. Whether it was his ability to convey information without sounding condescending or his awesome way he greeted folks each morning. Each and every coworker that he interacted with all feel a void but are able to fill it with great memories of Jeff because he was such a great guy. We are all sorry for your loss but know that Jeff lives on in the hearts of many. Signed - the Meritain QA Team

To the Stievater family,
Many years ago, Jeff and his sister Lynn worked as pages at Crane Library, where I worked. They were both such good, hard working, nice polite young kids. So shocked to see that Jeff has left this world at such a young age. Condolences to entire family.
Sincerely, Linda Buziak-Hari
