MEYER - John P. "Big Bad John"
Age 81, of North Tonawanda, died October 21, 2019 at home after a brief illness. John was a former employee of Remington Rand and Harrison Radiator and was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. John loved wearing cowboy hats and boots, and was a big John Wayne fan. He also loved trucks, doing puzzles, and spending time with family. He was the son of the late William and Margaret (Hacker) Meyer; brother of the late Howard (late Lucille), late Eugene (late Martha), late William, late LeGrand and the late Glen Meyer; brother-in-law of Joan Meyer of Georgia; uncle of Todd Meyer, Susan (Parker) Meyer, Jay Meyer, Jon Meyer, Kim Vaughn, Julie McNally, Lori McCotter, and Gretchen Sonego; great-uncle of many great-nieces and nephews. No prior visitation, family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Saturday at 11:00 AM, from St. Mark Lutheran Church, 1135 Oliver St., in North Tonawanda, interment will be in Elmlawn Cemetery.
