Of Angola, NY, November 6, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Frederick Herold; loving mother of William (Susan) Herold and Susan J. Herold-Kleiss. Grandmother of Lindsey (Shannon) Rogers and Andrea Herold. Great-grandmother of Mallory and William Rogers. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, at 11:00 AM, in the First Church of Evans (Rt. 5 at Sturgeon Point Road). Arrangements by the ADDISON FUNERAL HOME, INC., 262 N. Main, Angola, NY.

Condolences to all Joyce's family and friends. Joyce was my Sister Sharon's SOUL SISTER from another mother .
They hit it off right from the start. They both had such a love of animals and plants right from the start. They loved each other's company. ( They would even watch tv programs together from their distant homes and commented on the phones as they watched). Both liked Maxine comics so they would often send relatable cartoons or articles of interest through the mail. They had a lot of laughs together. Sharon enjoyed Joyce's hair. Actually, I am surprised she didn't do hers in a coordinating color. Both were fashionistas in their own right. Most of all they respected each other and had fun. Isn't that what it is all about? Both enjoyed volunteering together in different avenues.
