To my honorary Aunt Mary E. Dagonese- I love you and I will miss our visits together. I'm sorry I couldn't make it to the wake. Thank you for making me feel like a part of your family. You will always be in my heart! Love you Aunt Mary!

My deepest sympathy to the family of Mary Dagonese. I have known Mary since I was a young girl because she was a dear friend of my aunt, Etta D'Addario and my family. I took a trip to St. Louis with her on the train when I was about 19 and she was in her 30s. We had a wonderful time with my aunt and saw Porgy and Bess at the American Theater there, and Peter, Paul, and Mary. I have very fond memories of her, and I apologize for not being able to come to the wake. My cousin Janine told me that when she saw Mary in the hospital recently she told her that I sent my love and she remembered me. The last time I saw Mary was at her 90th birthday dinner with my Aunt and cousins. I am 80 myself, and have not been well recently so I could not come to the wake. This nice photo is exactly the way I remember Mary. She was a wonderful person. May she rest in peace. Diana Notaro

Aunt Mary was such a kind, loving and generous woman. I will miss our visits and wonderful conversations dearly!! May you rest in peace. I will miss you.
