Age 87, of Hamburg, NY, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2023. Dearest Papa to Steven and Patrick; Beloved uncle of many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; also many god children totaling over 128. Dick was a graduate of St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute in 1954. He worked for T. R. Services in Tonawanda, NY as a salesman, retiring in 2001. Dick enjoyed the outdoors, he loved to ski and was on the Ski Patrol at Kissing Bridge for 25 years, golfing, dancing, traveling, camping with his niece, Peggy and her family and gardening. He belonged to and was a founding member of the Snyder Cleve-Hill Garden View. All are welcome to attend calling hours on Friday, Nov. 3 from 4-7 PM at the Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home, 21 Pierce Ave. Hamburg, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at SS Peter & Paul Church, 66 E. Main St. Hamburg on Saturday, Nov. 4 at noon. I will miss seeing Dick at our many DOTted notes sing a longs. He always entertained with his jokes, and shared many great dishes and laughs at our annual Christmas get together. May he rest in peace.

My condolences to Dick´s family. Participated in many ski conditioning classes of which he was also a member. He was a fun guy and quite a character at times. A good guy! Hope he will be skiing the heavenly slopes.
