BULGER - Robert Francis
84 years old, December 10, 2020, of North Tonawanda, NY. Robert, more affectionately known as Bob, was the beloved father of Robert Bulger Jr. (Erena), Steven Bulger (deceased), William Bulger (Susie), Laura Barnum, and Thomas Bulger; 'Bapa Bob' was grandfather to Mara Bulger, Brenna Bulger, Trenton Bulger, Jayden Bulger, Sara Waugh (William), Emily Bulger, Holly Bulger (deceased), Ryan Bulger, Jessica Bulger, Racheal Bulger, Crystal Bulger, William Bulger, David Bulger, Sophie Barnum, Sarah Barnum; and great-grandfather of Steven Waugh, Jackson Waugh, and Evander Bulger. Robert was born, raised and lived in the Buffalo area his entire life. He graduated from Kenmore High School and served honorably in the U.S. Air Force. He was employed at E.I. DuPont and Arco (Anaconda Brass). He held the position as Sr. Production Manager when he retired in 1998.He was a devoted Catholic. Bob was an avid bowler and golfer. He was a faithful Bills fan. He was always proud of winning the Erie County Doubles Horse Shoe championship in the 50's. He was always good for a laugh or had a song to brighten anyone's day. He is survived by his brother Joseph Bulger (Kathryn), and his beloved sister June (Jim) who predeceases him. He has numerous nieces and nephews who remember him fondly for his corny jokes, and his wonderful smile. Friends may call Sunday from 3-7 PM at the WATTENGEL FUNERAL HOME, 533 Meadow Drive, North Tonawanda, where funeral services will be held Monday at 1 PM. A Memorial mass and a Celebration of life to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Alzheimer's Association.
