Tolbert Marian Obituary

Marian Tolbert passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024, after a lengthy illness. Marian was born May 1, 1949, in Buffalo NY, daughter of the late Paul and Dorthy Tolbert. Marian will be remembered by her two children, daughter, Yulanda McVay and son, Abdul Muhammad (James Kent). Sisters, Beverly Tolbert Thurmond, Patricia Daniels, (Minister Darryl Daniels), and Dorothea Tolbert. One aunt Lillian (Lisa) Tolbert Yokley, 8 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. Two predeceased brothers, Paul Tolbert (JR) and Melvin Tolbert. A celebration of life will be held at St John Baptist Church 184 Goodell Street in Buffalo on Saturday, January 27th at 11:00 am.
