Claudia Eckel Obituary

Claudia Ruth Eckel, 65, of Evington, Va., passed away Wednesday.
Born in Kittanning on April 8, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Claude Pence and Lenora Barnett Pence.
She was retired from Wilco and was a member of White's United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Siebert C. Eckel Jr.; and one brother, Charles J. Pence.
She is survived by one daughter, Kristen Jean Eckel-Eyler and her husband, Lewis "Allen" Eyler, of Evington, Va.; one son, Christopher Alan Eckel of Butler; one sister, Martha Jean Daily of Cowansville; one brother, James K. Pence and his wife, Neva, of Kane; six grandchildren, Joshua Eckel, Taylor Ordway, Katelyn Ordway, Logan Eyler, Nicholas Eckel-Eyler and Brittany Eyler; and one great-granddaughter, Nyx Harper.
ECKEL - Friends of Claudia Ruth Eckel, who died Wednesday, March 11, 2015, will be received from 2 to 3 p.m. Monday at the Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Barry Keurulainen officiating.
Burial will be in the Cowan Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the funeral home.

I am so sorry to hear of Claudia passing. Years ago, she was a dedicated volunteer at Yellow Branch Elementary School. I will be praying for the family.
