Dyane Parenti Obituary
Dee Dee was born Aug. 9, 1942, in Boyers, and was the cherished daughter of the late Enrico and Julia Parenti. She was the last of 10 children, is survived by a host of nieces and nephews, and very much loved by all.
Dee Dee was a devout member of the Epiphany Catholic Church in Boyers. She dedicated more than three decades of her life to Slippery Rock University, where she worked in custodial cervices. Her generosity knew no bounds, and she touched countless lives with her kindness and love.
Dee Dee enjoyed traveling, music, going to concerts and spending time with her family and friends. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Penguins fan and could often be found passionately rooting her teams on.
PARENTI - In celebration of the remarkable life of Dyane "Dee Dee" Parenti, who died Tuesday, March 5, 2024, an open house to honor her memory will be arranged at a later date, where family and friends can come together to reminisce and celebrate the vibrant spirit she brought into the world.
WILLIAM F. YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 132 Main St., West Sunbury, has assisted the family with arrangements.

I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to Dee's family and friends. I met Dee at SRU when I worked in Old Main. She always greeted everyone with a smile. She truly was one of a kind. You could tell how much she loved her family. She spoke about her sisters, her nephews and nieces, and her friends. Dee was loved by many. I will remember her always.
