VARGAS, Luis A. Of Somerville, Nov. 30. Beloved husband of Maria Alvarado. Father of Gyna Williamson and her husband Gregor and Karyn DerBoghosian and her husband Michael all of Reading. Son of the late Rudolfo and Eloisa Vargas. Grandfather of four. Funeral from the Cota-Struzziero Funeral Home, 197 Washington St., SOMERVILLE, on Tues., Dec. 6 at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. Anthony's Church, 12 Properzi Way, Somerville at 10 am. Luis and Maria were great friends of my mother and father nad I have fond memories of great times on vacations and Christmas together. Luis was a very luck man with an amazing and suportive family.
He will be in remembered and missed.
Rest in peace Luis.

I also transported Mr Vargas to and from dialysis treatments for 2 years while I worked in the Boston area. He was a great person, and his wife a very sweet woman. We were always greeted with kindness from both Mr Vargas, his family, and his dogs. Rest in Peace Mr Vargas. EMT Jimmy R

I had the pleasure of transpoting Mr.Vargas to dialysis every other day.he was an amazing man,funny,cute and has the most amzing wife who did everything for Mr.Vargas.she took such great care of him the most loving wife in the world.I am going to miss seeing luis and his witty self who made me laugh.you will always be in my heart and never forgotten,marie you are a wonderful person and i will miss our chats. god bless you we love you rest in peace Mr.Vargas always Lori
