Hector Ramirez Moreno

"For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain." Philippians 1:21 He lived as Christ. Where he walked - laughter, happiness, and love followed. Our father in heaven called Hector Ramirez Moreno to join him in paradise on September 18, 2002. He was born in Gregory, Texas on April 22, 1946. He loved God, his family, the Gregory-Portland Wildcats, and worked for H.E.B. where he worked for 31 years. He was a member of the Emanuel Full Gospel Church in Ingleside, Texas. He is preceded in death by his father, Juan Moreno Sr. He is survived by his mother, Rebecca R. Moreno, his wife, Antonia (Toni) Moreno, two sons, Roel and Hector (Little One) of Gregory, Texas: two brothers, Juan Moreno Jr., of Corpus Christi, Texas, Rafael (Deysi) Moreno of Port Arthur, Texas; five sisters, Berta (Enrique) Nesmith, Gloria (Jesse) Bazan, all of Gregory, Texas, Lupe (Eines) Jimenez of Ingleside, Texas, Laura (Robert) Garcia of Corpus Christi, Texas and Elodia (Merced) Garcia of Cypress, Texas. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive him. Visitation will be held from 10:00am to 9:00pm, Thursday, September 19, 2002 at the Limbaugh Funeral Home with a prayer service to be held at 7:00pm that evening. Visitation will also be held from 9:00am to 9:00pm, Friday, September 20, 2002 at the Limbaugh Funeral Home with a prayer service to be held at 7:00pm that evening. Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00am, Saturday, September 21, 2002 at the Limbaugh Funeral Home. Interment to follow at San Patricio Memorial Gardens.
