James Glynn Evans Sr.

James Glynn Evans, Sr., 63, passed away August 10, 2007 in an Alice hospital. He was born December 9, 1943 in Pasadena, Texas to Seth and Gladys Evans. Mr. Evans was a Top Honored Eagle Scout and a longtime employee of Fesco Engineering. He was a United States Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents and by a brother, Edgar Evans. Survivors include his daughter, Heather B. (Johnny) Valentine of Corpus Christi; two sons, James Glynn (Merideth) Evans, Jr. of San Antonio and Paul Seth Evans of Alice; five grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, August 13, 2007 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at the Alice Cemetery.
