Rocky McCumber

Rocky McCumber, age 43, died Saturday, May 3, 2008 following a sudden illness. He was born to John T. and Ann (Work) McCumber on September 19, 1964 in Beeville, Texas. He was Tool Pusher in the Oilfield Industry for Pioneer Drilling. He is preceded in death by his mother, Ann McCumber and his daughter, Jessica McCumber. Survivors included: daughter, Mallerie McCumber of George West, Texas; father, John T. McCumber of George West, Texas; brother, John T.(Sheille) McCumber, Jr. of George West, Texas; fianc?e, Chance Byars of George West, Texas; step-daughter, Blake Byars of George West, Texas; his nieces and nephews, Jake, Taylor, and Joseph McCumber of George West, Texas, and James Estes his dear close friend along with many cousins, and friends will miss him deeply. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 7, 2008 from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Roberson Funeral Home Chapel in George West, Texas. Rosary will be recited Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at 7:30 P.M. at the St. George Catholic Church of George West, Texas. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at St. George Catholic Church in George West, Texas. Burial will follow in the Gussettville Cemetery, Gussettville, Texas. Pallbearers are Beau Hardcastle, Randy Williams, Scotty Gaspar, Earl Fisher, Bubba Catchings, James Estes, Paul Phillips, and Rodney Davis.
