Dominic Medure Obituary
Age 86, of Navarre
died Sunday, May 10, 2009 at Affinity Medical Center in Massillon following a month long illness. He was born in Clairton, PA on September 24, 1922 to the late Dominic and Antoinette (Surach) Medure and married Dorothy M. Clapper on February 20, 1946. She survives. He was a WWII Army Veteran and was a member of the Battle of the Bulge Association. He was a self-employed contractor. In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Jon (fiancé Claudia) Medure of Concrete, WA, Carl (Sally) Medure of West Salem and Mark (Teena) Medure of Navarre; five grandchildren, Melissa (Scott) Kriger of Orlando, FL, Angie (fiancé Curt) Medure of West Salem, Jillian Medure of West Salem, Britani Medure of Navarre and Zachary (fiancé Julianne) Medure of Silverthorne, CO; two brothers, Frank Medure of Hanoverton and Joe Medure of Canton. He was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters. Following his wishes cremation has taken place and private family services will be held at a later date. Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton is handling the arrangements. The family would like to thank the staff at Affinity Medical Center and Shady Lawn Health Care Community for their kind and loving care. To the family of Mickey Medure, i am so sorry for your loss . I have known Mickey for a long time and had so much fun with him .He was a great guy who i will always remember with a cigar in his mouth, and all the great and funny stories that will last a life time for me. Dave Ramsey Jr.

Aunt Dorothy and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss of Uncle Mick. I enjoyed listening to his amusing and detailed stories. He was a wealth of knowledge on every subject. He lived a great life with a great family. He was such a happy guy. His passing is a great loss for the entire family.
