Duane Vansant Obituary
age 64, of Massillon, died early Saturday morning. Born in Burton, Ohio, to the late Earl and Betty (Metzger) Vansant.
Preceded in death by his wife, Deborah. He is survived by a daughter, Danielle Mullane; two sons, Derek (Missy) Mullane and Timothy (Holleh) Vansant; three grandchildren, Charles and Christopher Gordon and Selah Vansant; two sisters, Sally Smith and Sue Chapek; long time friend, Cathy Lohr and his dog, Duke.
A memorial service will be 6:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 710 Tuscarawas St., W. with Pastor Edward Fashbaugh officiating. A private interment will follow the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice 716 Commercial Ave., S.W. New Philadelphia, OH 44663. You may sign our guest book at shriverfuneralhomes.com

Duane was always a kind person and a real joker. I got the pleasure of working with him several years ago. Its sad that he has gone too soon but i hope he has reunited with his beloved wife now.

I had the pleasure of working with Duane, and we became friends over the years. He had a quiet but wicked sense of humor. I know he loved his family very much especially his dear late wife, Debbie. May you always remember the good times that you enjoyed with him. My deepest condolences.
