age 65, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Healthpark Medical Center in Fort Myers, Florida. Earl was born December 21, 1953 in Canton, Ohio to Carl Gill (father) and Mildred Gill Curry (mother).
Earl is survived by his three kids, Jesse Gill, Joey Gill and Katie (Gill) Wood, brother Carl (Butch) Gill, sisters Carol (Cookie) Davis and Susan (Susie) Gill Jackson, grandchildren Sawyer and Kallen Gill along with countless extended family members.

My heart is broken that we lost "my little brother" - I am so sad that I can't be there for the celebration of his life but my heart & prayers are with the entire family - I will always remember the knotters & alligators & our time behind the bar in the Gill-Stiner Trailer in Orlando. Loved him dearly. We have one feisty angel in heaven!!

I am so shocked to hear this. Curly was a great guy - always fun to be around - my deepest sympathy to all of the family - I'm sure your hearts are broken. But boy I bet him and Bruce are having a good ole time in heaven!! Hugs for all

Wow, we are shocked and saddened to read about Curly. We are in Fort Myers for the Roy Hobbs Baseball Tournament and read his obit on-line. We always tried to have dinner with him or he would come to a game while we were in town. He was such a jovial, kind-hearted soul whom never met a stranger. In fact, the whole Gill family is that way. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. May your happy memories help you through this most difficult time. Fondly...

Earl to you and your family you will be missed. I was happy that I had the opportunity to meet you through rotary and then share with you the times with relay for life raising money for American cancer. Im glad we had the opportunities to hang out during the screaming or friends you are a really good guy and you will be missed

Over the past two years or so, Earl and I became very close friends. He and I shared our Irish heritage, our love for sports, our love for the construction industry, and our enjoyment of good times. He had a big heart and a great spirit. I will miss him dearly. This is a big loss for everyone who knew him -- and that is a LOT of folks. My thoughts and prayers to his family.

Youd have to get up very early and work very hard to dislike Earl Gill.
He was a friend to all who came to know him and a genuinely fine,fun,man!

Curley was loved by everyone ! He was always smiling. He will be missed. I enjoyed playing baseball with him and summer leagues and all through high school. He was a great teammate and a good friend!
