We're so sorry for the loss of your dad, Bud. Mom & I have so many good memories of your mom & dad , when you lived near us in Bolivar. And of aunt Retha & uncle Mern. It was always a treat to walk back to both houses for a visit. Aunt Retha made the best cookies & Freeda had the greatest little parties & crafts for us to do. Stay in touch. Our love & sympathy to all.

Dad,

As I look at the pictures on the pages of my life in my mind, my happiest moments were working and talking with you. I will forever miss your humor, wisdom and most of all, your friendship. I wish I had been able to spend some time with you to let you know that its ok. Say hi to mom and my dad and give Joseph a kiss for me.

Love,
Dave

Dear Steve, Linda, Barb, Dan, and Families,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Earl was an extremely smart, kind and caring person. He always had a new intersting fact or story to share. Grandpa I sincerely hope you know how much not only me, but everyone loved you and still love you. You will always remain the angel that always looks over us and makes sure we are ok. Please tell Grandma hi for me and tell her how much I miss her. I hope you have fun playing with Joseph, please give him a kiss for me and tell him I love him always. Please know that you are never far from my mind and always in my heart! I may not have said it as much as I should have but I am so proud to be able and call you my Grandpa and that is how things will always stay! Every time I stop by a tool store, seeing all the different tools, I smile thinking how much you really loved working on things with your tools. I feel so blessed to have had you in my life and to have so many happy memories like this of you! I really wish I would have told you more how much I love you…I hope you will always know that! I will go on with my life happy that I made you proud of me. I will live the rest of my life knowing that you and Grandma are smiling down upon all of us. You were both always so proud of us and I hope we never let you down!

I found a poem for you, I hope you like it!

My Grandpa

The wonderful man
That means so much to me
May be gone now
But with me he will always be
Because my memory holds him dearly
And my pen recalls his ways
Memories of his smiling face
A smile that made me feel everything would be ok
But most of all I love him
My love for him will always stay
It stays inside my memory
And is often on my mind
Because a man like my grandpa
Is rare and hard to find.

I love you so much Grandpa!

My love always,
Your Grand-daughter
Mandy

Grandpa,
Without a doubt you are the greatest man, and friend I have ever known. You and Grandma are the model of what I believe a marriage is supposed to be all about. I loved the way she would tell the story of how she first saw you at Myers Lake Ballroom, smilling and pointing her finger while saying thats going to be my husband! I find comfort in the fact that you and Grandma are taking care of Joseph, and watching over all of us that will miss you each and every day. This is not goodbye, but a see you later.... please give Grandma and my sweet baby boy a kiss for me!!!
