James Bracken Obituary
Age 81, of Canton, passed away Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016, following a sudden illness. He was born Oct. 9, 1934 in Canton and was the son of the late Paul and Goldie Bracken. Charlie retired from the Timken Company after more than 32 years of service. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He played and coached Slow Pitch Softball for over 25 years and enjoyed fishing and gardening. Charley was an avid Buckeye's fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jennifer Halter. He is survived by his wife, Marsha; daughter, Denise (Jeff) Halter; sons, Daryl Bracken, Darren “Pep” (Theresa) Bracken and Doug “Booner” Bracken; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens with Deacon Will Bagley officiating. Military honors will follow. There will be no calling hours. Those unable to attend may share a memory or their condolences at dwilliamsfh.com

My condolences to the Bracken family for their loss. I worked with Jim for many years at the Timken Company. Jim operated the most difficult cone grinding line in Dept.36 and was very successful. He was missed when he retired as he will be missed by all now.
