Linda Burkett Obituary
Age 80, of Louisville, Ohio went Home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 following a brief illness. She was born February 10, 1938 in Alliance, Ohio to the late Louis & Mildred (Sutton) Beutler. Linda was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Louisville. She was a 1956 graduate and proud supporter of Louisville High School.
Linda is survived by her husband of 59 years, Ronald L. Burkett; three sons, Eric (Angie), Shawn (Teresa) and Patrick (Rhonda) Burkett; her three grandsons, Alex, Joshua and Jacob Burkett.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville with Rev. Dr. Larry Hinkle officiating. Calling hours will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home. Linda will be laid to rest in Sunset Hills Burial Park, Canton, Ohio. Memorial donations may be made, in Linda's name, to the Louisville Food Pantry. Ron, this is Russ Morgan from Kettering, Ohio.
How sorry I am for you and your family that Linda is no longer with you on this earth. She is, however, with you in spirit and memory. You've obviously had a good life together, and the world is a better place because of her contributions.
It doesn't seem like 59 years ago that we all stood for the two of you at your marriage. I remember it well, and was honored to be there.
Be well, old friend. Semper Fi!
