I worked with Ed for many years in the Personnel Department. I was new to the office and he graciously welcomed me and taught me much about personnel work. I am glad that I was able to see Ed once again at the last Personnel luncheon.

What a lovely and caring gentleman. Heaven is getting a treasure. I worked with Ed at the Board of Education for many years. I am pleased to say Ed also was a personal friend. We had many fun times together. Especially going to many Super Bowl Festivities at Gambrills Athletic Assn. And can't forget those group dinners where everyone pitched-in to make them memorable. I was a lucky recipient of a copy of the wonderful cookbook Ed wrote. Rest in peace my friend.

Ed and I were coworkers and friends from the summer of 1964 until now. Many trips to employ teachers for the schools of Anne Arundel County in the 60's and 70's. Ed and Hilda provided our children with a black kitten in the early 70's. Edwin was always the true southern gentleman regardless of the circumstances. He will be remembered fondly by a large number of people.
