Gina Mears Obituary
Gina Rivera Mears, 41, of Emmitsburg, and formerly of Westminster, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018 at her home. Gina was born on August 15, 1976 in Baltimore, and was the daughter of the late Manuel Thomas Anthony Rivera and Deborah Lindley Sullivan of Hanover, PA. Gina was a Westminster High School graduate, with the class of 1994. She worked as a care taker for the mentally & physically challenged at Target and other assisted living facilities. Surviving in addition to her mother are children Caitlyn and Cameron Mears, ex-husband Eric Mears, siblings Marcella Melinda Knox, Rachel Miller, and Manny Rivera; Fiancé Jason Michael Frye, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will welcome friends on Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 9th at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Lorraine Park Cemetery.

So saddened to hear of Gina's passing. She was such a kind person with a beautiful soul. I had the privilege of getting to know Gina when she would visit in the finance office at Community Living. She had such a positive outlook on life. Rest in peace my friend, until I see you again someday.
