Sheila Walter Obituary

Sheila Walter, 69

Sheila Walter passed away on January 5th, 2023. Sheila was born in Springville, New York on May, 11th 1954. Graduated in Penn Hills Pennsylvania. Sheila and her Family moved to Las Vegas in 1974 then she moved to Coeur d'Alene Idaho.

She was proceeded in death by her father Wallace Keith Walter, Mother Rosemary Whiteside Walter, Brother Craig Walter, sister Cathy Russo and nephew Ricky Russo. Sheila is survived by her sisters Sharon Carter and Kim Larubio, sister in law Nancy Walter and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Sheila was selfless, kind, generous, fun and loved everyone she met. She was always first to help and never forgot a birthday. Sheila lived her adult life in Las Vegas Nevada then moved to North Idaho. Her dream was to live in the country, have a garden, can vegetables and have pets. She met Roger Glessner in Coeur d'Alene in 2000 and they never separated. She spent the rest of her life living on their farm outside of Coeur d'Alene where she lived her dream. Sheila also loved fishing, camping, trail bikes and spending time with family and friends. She was called sister, friend, mom, grandmother, nana and God mother by many. She loved being surrounded by people and always included homemade food.

There will be a service for Sheila on February 3rd at 11 am at Bell Tower Funeral Home followed by a grave side service at River View Cemetery then a gathering at the Coeur d' Alene Inn. Everyone is invited to attend.
