I worked under John for a short period of time this past summer at Merrill Lynch. John was always kind to me, very helpful, and has helped in furthering my knowledge in the world of finance. I was deeply saddened to hear bout this, my condolences go out to his family, especially to his daughter Marianna. I lost my father when I was 14 years old, it is not an experience I wish upon anyone. However, from what John had told me, Marianna has a great head on her shoulders. RIP John.

I was so saddened to hear of John's unexpected death. I knew John as a father and a friend.
My husband and I met John in a birthing class where we found much common ground. Then our children spent the first five years of their lives playing together.
John was a loving and proud father to Marianna, and was always ready to share a picture of her with me, and wanted to hear about my son and daughter as well.
He will be greatly missed in Las Cruces!

I was deeply sadden to hear of John's passing. My most sincere condolences are extended to the Krumrine family. I am so sorry for your loss.
John was a young man that few could forget. His love of sports, his sense of humor and his love of family and friends were such a huge part of who he was.
As early as 5th grade many of his wonderful qualities and traits were present.
I am greatly impressed by the comments that his friends and teammates have written. It is very clear John was a man loved and respected by many.
He lived his dream. He like many of us, always wanted his Dad and Mom to be proud of him. John I salute you for your bravery and service to our country. I tip my hat to you for your many accompliments on and off the ball field of life.

My sincere condolences. Our lives are made of many memorable and not-so-memorable moments. Time with John always fit into the memorable category. Like many others who have signed this guest book, John was a good friend and team mate. The State Gas van will always bring a smile. As his battery-mate for baseball, I could always count on Buffer to throw a special cureveball. God rest John - you are missed.

We would like to pass along our heartfelt condolences to the Krumrine family. As a high school classmate, and naval veteran, it saddens me to hear of your passing. You were not only a fine sailor, who served his country with pride and honor, but made each and every one of your high school classmates proud of your accomplishments. Your family can take comfort in the fact that they are not alone, we share in their pain, grieve in your passing. Gary, Kathy, Kimberly, and Kevin Cramer.

I am very very saddened that John has passed away. He was one of my close friends in high school and we spent a lot of time together- during road trips for baseball and basketball, math class, after lunch in the lobby, etc. The last time I saw him was probably on the Lemont baseball team in '79. Lost contact shortly after he went into the Navy, but we had a nice phone conversation in 2005. Wish I'd connected with him since then. Like Dave, I recall the van and lots of trips to and from American Legion games. We had a lot of good times. Missing him already.

I am so saddened to hear of John's passing. We played baseball, basketball and spent tons of free time together. I thought the world of John. John was great caring person, friend and teammate. Besides sports, we went fishing, camping and enjoyed lots of evenings together. Rest in peace and may God bless.

John was a close friend of mine in high school and I am very sorry to hear of his passing. We played baseball and basketball together and spent a lot of time just "hanging out". He was really a good guy, had a great sense of humor and was fun to be around - I used to think of him as the "Gentle Giant". A lot of my memories of "Buffer" were of time spent in his old State Gas & Oil van. He worked hard to fix it up and we drove it to lots of baseball games and enjoyed many "road trips" together. I regret not doing more to stay in touch with John after high school. He was a good person that I shared a lot of laughs with and I will miss him.
