David Osborne Obituary
The family wiIl receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, July 13th at the Fort Mill Church of God in the sanctuary.
The funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 14th at the Fort Mill Church of God. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Park - Cherry Road in Rock Hill, SC.
David was born October 21, 1938 to the late Leroy "Jim" Osborne and Alma Eason Osborne. He was preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Dove.
David worked for Eastex Packaging and retired from Manville Corporation. He later worked for Ambassador Packaging for five years. Most of all David was a loving husband, a father always there for his children and a PawPaw who cherished his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved to play golf, watch the Atlanta Braves and NASCAR racing.
David is survived by his wife of 64 years Joyce Couch Osborne; daughters, Teresa Smith (Mike) of Fort Mill and Deb Osborne of Greenville, SC; sons, John "Danny" Osborne (Debbie) of Rock Hill, Brian Dove (Ginger) of Flat Creek, SC and Lee Osborne; brothers, Donald Osborne and Earl "Buddy" Osborne; four grandchildren; and nine grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, 82 Orchard Park, Greenville, SC 29615; or to Hospice Care of South Carolina, 1639 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
Wolfe Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

I am so sorry for your lost. My God help you through the next phase of your life. I lost my husband three years ago today I must say it doesn't get any easier although I cherish our memories and the Fifty years we were blessed to be together. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
