It was a pleasure to work for Don Davidson very early in my career and to learn from his example. On Election Day, by way of the PA system microphone he had on his desk, he would remind fellow Washburn employees of our civic responsibility to vote, "if you value your freedom as an American" he said persuasively. He set an example for all!

I'm another Washburn alumni who was profoundly influenced by "Mr. D." His genuine concern for others was inspirational to me, and I remember and live by some of his nuggets of wisdom today. We've lost a fine man, and he is missed.

It was always a honor and a pleasure to spend time with G. Don. Loved his liberal spirit! My sympathy to George, Sally and Sherry. I think of you all so very fondly.

We've lost a legend! Washburn is vacation and I enjoyed 16 years there with countless friends I still enjoy. I learned much under Don's realm. Duck

One of the many Washburn alumni who have fond memories of Mr. Davidson's zest for life and vision. Mr. D was a great leader, took pride in others' successes and never forgot a name. My mother has been at Sharon Towers for about 4 years now, I enjoyed seeing Mr. D there occasionally, his charisma was still infectious. Best regards to his family.

Judy and I met Don and Anne 13 years ago and enjoyed their visits to the mountains and this continued after Anne's passing. Knowing Don was stimulating and challenging and alway entertaining. Our lives are richer from the relationships with both of them.
