Jean Haun Obituary

Jean Adolf Haun, 84, of Charlotte, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2002 at her home. She was born on September 28, 1917 in Cincinnati, OH, to the late Edwin and Clara Rinke Adolf. Mrs. Haun had been a Charlotte resident since 1957 and had been a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church. Her focus in life following the death of her husband in 1973 was her family and church.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated today, Wednesday, April 11, 2002 at 1:00 PM at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 8015 Ballantyne Commons Parkway with Father Duc Duong celebrant. Interment will follow at Sharon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends today in the church narthex from 12:30 to 1:00, and following the interment at 5915 Chalyce Lane, the home of Cheryl and Sam Glova.
Mrs. Haun is survived by a daughter, Cheryl Glova and her husband, Sam; granddaughter, Cindy Davis Kliober and her husband, Bill; grandsons, Gene E. Davis, Jr. and his wife, Louisa, and Christopher E. Leoni; and great grandchildren, Will Kliober, Jackson Kliober and Lila Davis, all of Charlotte.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Heineman Medical Research, Inc., 1001 Blythe Blvd. #604, Charlotte, NC 28203.
Carolina Funeral and Cremation Center is entrusted with the arrangements.
