Pam, I always admired your father as well as your mother when they were ineducation and faithful members at Hopewell. After I left home in 1971 when I married a Virginian I tried to keep up with your parents through my sister-in-law, Lucy Presson. Now I lost my husband,Cecil after almost 5 years on dialysis. That was Feb. 3,2013. You are in my prayers and remember the good times you've had with your father. Love, Wanda Presson Stone

Dear Pam,
I just spoke to Linda and learned of your father's passing. Both he and your mother were instrumental in shaping my life; they believed in me , supported me, and encouraged me be everything that I could be.
For that, and much more, I am truly grateful.
My thoughts are with you on this journey through grief and loss.
Warm regards,
Jannette Long Harden

Mr. Gann was my principal at PHS. Later when he went to county office, he hired me to work at PHS. He was one of the finest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. My prayers. Carol Pressley Williams

L J and Dean were two of our favorite people. It was difficult to think of one without the other. They are together now and will worship in Heaven together. We loved them and wlll look forward to a true family reunion.

Dear Pam and the Gann Family:
I want you all to know that all of us in the Claremont Graduate University Family mourn with you and are thinking about you now.
On a personal level, I have truly enjoyed learning about your father. Reading his obituary, I can see what a caring and wonderful father and teacher he must have been. Of course, that also explains why you are the extraordinary professor, intellect and person that you are.
Finally, since we all share UNC in common, I cannot resist a salute to your Dad--Go Tar Heels. Of course he is in the true southern part of heaven now.
Our sincerest condolences, Debbie Freund and CGU
