Nicholas Brendle Obituary
'Nick'
Mr. Brendle, age 26, of Charlotte, formerly of Maiden, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at his residence. Born April 25, 1984 in Catawba County, he was the son of Robert and Martha Detter Brendle. Nick was a 2002 graduate of Maiden High School. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Bobby Brendle; and maternal grandparents, Robert Greene and Alean Barringer Detter.
He is survived by his parents, Robert and Martha Detter Brendle of the home; grandmother, Betty Lou Brendle of Hickory; and numerous aunts and uncles.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 28, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at Friendship United Methodist Church in Newton with Rev. Brad Thie officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4:30-5:45 p.m. at the church prior to the service.

Mr & Mrs Brendle,

Martha and Robert, I can't begin to imagine the pain you are going through. I enjoyed Nick so much in our Sunday School Class. I will always remember him as a boy and young man with a good heart and a big smile. May God carry you both through this roughest of times.

I am simply heartbroken to hear about our loss of Nick. Some of my best memories of my childhood and growing up in our church he was apart of. He always knew how to make you smile and laugh.
