Graveside service to be at 3:00 pm Sat, March 10, 2018 at Richfield Cemetery. Memorial Service to be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Myers Park Baptist Church.
Memorials are appreciated and requested to be sent to Hospice and Palliative Care Charlotte Region, 7845 Little Ave, Charlotte, NC 28226 or Myers Park Baptist Church, 2001 Selwyn Ave. Charlotte, NC 28207

Sam,Sam,Sam. Well you made it before me and now you're talking to Marvin and you've seen the face of God. I knew you would. Thank you for everything you did for me. Heaven is now overflowing with beautiful flowers. I'll see you soon.

Our good friend, Sam Warner, is finally at peace in heaven after struggling with pain way too long. We will miss this wonderful man who was a flower arranging master. He was loved by us and also admired by many movie stars who ordered flower arrangements from him at the Pierre Hotel in NY City where he lived for years. Elizabeth Taylor, Rock Hudson, and his very favorite, Audrey Hepburn, were only a few of the many movie stars he served. In addition, he was an excellent pianist and even played in a recital once at Carnegie Hall. He helped me for years at Myers Park Baptist making beautiful arrangements for our altar. Special friend we will never forget. God bless Sam Warner. There was a photo of Mr. Warner with a floral arrangement on the alter of Myers Park Baptist Church.
