Sherrell Simpson Obituary
Randolph Simpson, Sr.
INDIAN TRAIL -- Mr. Simpson, 74, a lifelong resident, passed away peacefully to be with his Savior on Thursday, February 14, 2008, surrounded by his loving family.
Sherrell was born on September 2, 1933 in Union County to the late James Randolph Simpson and Nellie Faire Helms Simpson.
He will be missed greatly by his wife of 57 years, Betty McCall Simpson, his children, Sherry Simpson Breneman and her husband, Brian, Dennis Simpson and his wife, Karen, Dwayne Simpson and his wife, Pam, Gloria Simpson Haney and her husband, Jeff, and Sherrell (Bubba) Simpson, Jr. and his wife Lori; his grandchildren, Marcus and Karen Breneman, Matthew Breneman, Tim and Leah Simpson Croom, Reece Simpson, Ryan and Nikki Simpson Osborne, Jamie and Kimberly Simpson Karabela, Jessica Haney, Jordyn Haney, Joshua Simpson, and Mason Simpson; his great grandchildren, Bryce Breneman, Brooke Breneman, Emily Breneman, Alexis Breneman, Anna Croom, Kinsley Osborne, and Brandon Osborne. He is also survived by his sisters, Peggy Simpson Rowell and Sarah Simpson Brooks and her husband Max.
The family will receive friends at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 1417 Unionville-Indian Trail Road, Indian Trail, NC on Monday, February 18, 2008, from 12:30 pm until 1:45pm. A service to celebrate his life will be held at the church at 2:00 pm followed by burial at Price Cemetery, Monroe, NC. Prior to the services on Monday, the family will gather at the residence at the residence.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Charlotte Region, 1420 East 7th Street, Charlotte, NC 28204.
Arrangements are in care of Heritage Funeral Home, Indian Trail/Matthews Chapel.

Betty, yu know that Sam and I loved Sherrell very much I am so sorry to see him go but to know that he will not have to suffer any more he was a good hubby, father, friend and he is going to missed by family and all that knew him so if you need me call
