Ruth, everyone, I am so sorry to read about the death of your father. I was your little girlfriend from Decatur school. We were I think in 3rd grade together. During our sleepovers at your house, I have so many fond memories of you and your father and your family life. Those memories have remained with me to this day. I have felt such warm feelings for you and your family all these years that some time ago, I even went to the bakery looking for your father, but to no avail. I knew Dad ("Duvid" as you sometimes called him) was a Holocaust survivor, but I didn't know he fought for Israel. HE WAS A GREAT MAN! You must be so proud to have had him as your father. To Ruth, Elissa and family,

Abe & I were saddened to read about the death of your father. Even though we haven't talked for a long time, you have come into our thoughts. We know how close your family is, we hope that all of the fond memories and cherished times you've shared with your father will help you through this most difficult time. You're in our thoughts and prayers. I remembered how you helped when my mother passed away almost 21 years ago. I know all of you will be a great support for each other,as you've always been. Fondly, Sue & Abe
