Bernice Wertheimer, nee Hilgert, loving wife of the late George Wertheimer; cherished mother of Marilyn (Maurice) Lipsich and Michelle "Candy" (Michael Goltz) Wertheimer; adored grandmother of Steven (Leni) Ornoff and Gary (Susan) Ornoff; treasured great- grandmother of Rebecca, Erin, Kirsten, Matthew and Nicole; dear sister of the late Joseph Hilgert and Jerome (Golde) Hilgert; fond aunt of many. Services Monday, 2:30 p.m. at Chicago Jewish Funerals Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd. (1 block north of Lake Cook Rd.), Buffalo Grove. Interment Shalom. Memorials in her memory to Lexington Healthcare 3rd Floor Social Activities, 730 W. Hintz Rd., Wheeling, IL 60090 would be appreciated. Candy and Michael, Shirley and I were saddened by the news of the passing of your mother. We will never forget the Holiday we spent with all of you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Mom's are especially hard to lose. May the Lord be with you in your time of need.

We are very sad at the loss of your mother/grandmother/greatgrandmother.Bea was small in stature, but so mighty in spirit. Her love and compassion were a gift to all of us . She will remain with us always because of how she impacted everyone she loved.
