Alix, Charles P. (Czajka). Beloved husband of Freda, Devoted father of Constance (Steven) Seabrook and Paul JJ Alix. Fond uncle of Gerald, Kenneth, Joanne (the late Richard) Bernas, Thomas and Norbert Czajka, Justin Ruffolo, Judith Patterson, Bill Folliard, Robert Quinn and the late Arletta Markham. WWII combat veteran, U.S. Army Signal Corp., Pacific Theater. Member, American Legion and the Elks Lodge. 9 a.m. visitation followed by 10 a.m. Mass at Mary, Seat of Wisdom Church, 920 Granville, Park Ridge on Friday, April 22. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions in memory of Charles Alix be made to adult stem cell Macular Degeneration research. Details available at the memorial service.
