Edith Jaffe, nee Zander, age 90, of Vernon Hills formerly of Evanston; beloved wife of the late Nathan; loving mother of Robert (Sherry) and Jay (Jill); adored grandmother of Craig and Heather; devoted daughter of the late Albert and Hilda Zander; cherished sister-in-law of Marcus (late Shirley) Porus and Hon. Aaron (Charlotte) Jaffe; treasured aunt of many. Service Tuesday, 12 p.m. at The Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove (1 blk N. of Lake Cook Rd.). Interment Shalom Memorial Park. I have had the pleasure of knowing your Mother for about 9 years. She was one of he kindest people I have ever known. She always had a kind word or pleasant exchange. She was most proud of her family and rightfully so you are unparalleled. Your devotion to your Mother is one of the most beautiful things I have had the pleasure of observing. You indeed added years to her life.
