Gerald Cohen, 90, loving husband for 65 years to Arlene Cohen; devoted father of Roxane Cohen (Moe Farsheed), Denise (Scott) Heller, and Mark (Stacia) Cohen; Cherished grandfather of Adam Farsheed, Michael (Kacey) Heller, Daniel and Nikki Heller, Cooper and Charles Cohen; Dear brother of Melvin (Meryl) Cohen. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 1st, 2018 at 11:00 am at Weinstein & Piser Funeral Home, 111 Skokie Blvd. Wilmette IL. A private interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to JUF at www.juf.org or a charity of your choice. Funeral info: 847-256-5700.

I loved Uncle Gershi and remember his sense of humor. No one has ever called me Smokefish but him and I will always laugh when I think about this. My heart goes out to all of you during this difficult time.
