Hugh B. ''Bud'' Johnson, age 70, U.S. Air Force Veteran, late of Prospect Heights, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2003, beloved son of the late John and the late Francis, nee Dugan, Johnson; cherished husband of Eleanor M., nee Berlin; devoted father of Dennis (Linda) Johnson, MaryJane (Nick) Demos, John (Cathy) Johnson and Diane (Doug) Hamel; loving brother of Jacqueline (Bill, Ret. C.P.D.) Vincent and Donna Bauer; dearest Papa of Stephanie, Michelle, Alexandra, Jennifer, Kenny, Nicolette and Ryan; fond brother-in- law, uncle, cousin and friend to many. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, Oct. 11, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. from Edgar Funeral Home, 10900 S. Cicero, Oak Lawn, to Our Lady of the Ridge Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., with Rev. Kevin Birmingham officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Visitation Friday from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. 708-423-1600 or 773-723-0876.

Dear Eleanor:

We were so sorry to hear of Bud's passing. He was a good man and we have many memories of the good times we shared in the past. We pray that God will bless you and your family with the strength and faith to endure this difficult time.
