John Altman Obituary

John D. Altman, 50, was born July 30, 1950, in Holbrook, AZ. John died March 27, 2001, while vacationing in the beautiful mountains of Pinedale, WY. John is survived by a loving family: a daughter, Amy Altman of Urbana, IL, a son, Aaron Altman of River Forest, IL; their mother Dianne Altman and a close friend, Martha Parrish and her children. John leaves a brother and four sisters: Mr. and Mrs. Ardell (Bud) Altman of California, Mr. and Mrs. Dale (Sylvia) Downs of Texas, Mr. and Mrs. Charles (Karen) Drechsel of Nebraska, Mr. and Mrs. Peter (Connie) Krause of Massachusetts and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph (Betty) Gifford II of Wyoming and their families. John's Christian life and wisdom provided spiritual guidance and support to family and friends. John gave 25 years of dedicated service to the Hinsdale Hospital in Hinsdale, IL. John will be missed by a large extended family and many friends. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, April 2, at 2 p.m., in the Hinsdale Seventh-day Adventist Church at 201 N. Oak St., Hinsdale, IL.
