We were so sorry to lose such a special friend. John and Jill meant so much too us. He was best man at our wedding 57 years ago. Steve and John met while playing football for Michigan State. He and Jill were very special people and will never be forgotten. Condolences to all the family.

So sorry to hear about John. He was a tremendous athlete. I loved watching him pitch. But most of all he had a wonderful personality. Very down to earth. I loved chatting with him. RIP John
