Joseph Cipriano, loving husband of Pamela, nee Alghini; dearest father of Michael, Renee (Phil) Harvey and Steven; fond brother of Richard (Geraldine) and Carole (Robert) Sorensen; beloved son of the late Michael and Mildred Cipriano; dear son-in-law of the late Renato and Frances Alghini; fond brother-in-law of the late Richard (the late Rose) and the late Ronald (the late Aurora). Visitation Wednesday, 3 to 9 p.m. at Salerno's Rosedale Chapels, Ralph Massey Funeral Director, 450 Lake St., Roselle (3/4 mi. W. of Bloomingdale/Roselle Rd.). Funeral Thursday, family and friends to meet at Holy Family Church, 2515 W. Palatine Rd., Inverness. Viewing from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Flint Creek Wildlife Rehabilitation, Barrington, IL, www.flintcreekwildlife.org. 630-889-1700. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

i am sorry for your loss. joe was a kind and gentle soul.
when he worked for pharmor in schaumburg, i was living down the street and when in the store would chat with him.
i am grateful to ron alghini for getting to know all of you.

Dear Pam,Renee, Michael and Steven,
I'm saddened to hear of Mr. Cipriano's passing. He was a man who was truly loved by his family, friends, and neighbors. He brought much happiness and laughter to everyone he touched. The love of his family expresses the type of man he was. I will always remember his warm greeting smiles, his passion for his garden, his love of Opera, and his compassion for animals.
May the laughter and memories help you through this difficult time.

Renee, my friend, I am so sorry for the loss of your father. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time. I pray that your Dad is now resting in peace and no longer suffering. I pray for you to stay strong, have faith and find comfort knowing that he is in a very beautiful place, Heaven. Pamela, Michael, Steven and Renee,
One day I had the opportunity to take a very long drive, searching for a composer's final resting place, with a man who loved nothing more than his opera ... except, of course, his family. That was one of the great days of my life. When I think of Joe I will smile.

Growing up next door to the Cipriano home, has left me with many fond memories of Joseph. From his beautiful gardens and love of animals, to his off-beat sense of humor. I'll miss our "over the fence" chats. He always had time for me and my entire family, and that time was mostly filled with laughter and joy.
