To The Zaglifa Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. My fondest memories of Nick were he couldn't wait for Tuesday night poker and his lunch dates with Jack! First and foremost he always made sure Ruth was well taken care of. I was lucky enough to be able to see Nick return from his Honor Flight which he told me that now he felt his life was complete. The second was his jump on a hot summer day on he beach downtown at the air show. He had the smile of a very proud man! I am the lucky one being able to have said I knew this wonderful man! His loving family always by his side. God bless you all..

Chris--My sincerest condolences on the death of your dad. He must have been a good man to have raised such an outstanding son. You were one of the first kids I met at Brother Rice in the 60's and you made a very positive impression on me. I hope fond memories of your dad will help rekieve the sorrow. All best wishes to you and your family. Requiescat in pace.

Dear Zaglifa Family,
My life has forever been touched from knowing your beloved Nick. What a humble man. I remember sitting next to him at Smith Crossing with a table of other WWII veterans and literally having to pull information out of him to learn about his purple hearts and bronze stars. He simply shrugged them off as no big deal. Our country is a better place for his bravery and willingness to step up when needed. You are all in my prayers. Debbie King

From "Heaven to Earth" at 88, now from "Earth to Heaven" at 93!
I have been blessed with two exceptional Uncles in my life and both are now gone – Uncle Joe and Uncle Nick. Both served their Country with dignity and honor in WW II. Uncle Nick knew no bounds when it came to bravery, humor, business, mischief, and gambling. When it came to cards or craps – hold on to your wallets! His nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren absolutely loved him because he was always upbeat and fun to be around! He lived life to the fullest – what more can I say, except that -- we'll miss you Uncle Nick!
