Robert B. Flodin, age 70, beloved husband of Diane, nee Muhr; loving father of Kimberley (Sal) Ruffino, Michael (Carole Jean), T.J. (Jennifer), Andrew (Laura); stepfather of Michael and Sherry Muhr; cherished grandfather of Aaron, Sonny, Stephanie, Joe, Sarah, Michael, A.J., Meah and Luca; dear brother of William Flodin. Family and friends will gather Thursday, Feb. 8, 2007 from 10 a.m. until the time of service 11 a.m. at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 7800 W. McCarthy Rd., Palos Heights. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Arrangements by Schmaedeke Funeral Home.

I was very sad to hear of Bob's death. I worked with Bob over many years. He was a true gentleman and supporter of the Sisters and their mission. My deepest sympathy goes out to his family.

My deepest sympathy to Bob's wife and children. He was a wonderful mentor to me and in fact hired me at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center.
He was a great ambassador for OSF Saint Anthony in the Rockford community. He will be missed.
