I am sorry to hear about Sam's passing. He was a kind man with a good sense of humor and patience for all the kids on our block. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

DEAREST ELSIE AND FAMILY
I WAS SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT SAM. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HOW WE USED TO COME DOWN THE BLOCK AND SIT ON THE PORCH WITH HIM. HE WAS A VERY FRIENDLY AND FUNNY MAN. HE IS AT PEACE AND NOW IS AN ANGEL LOOKING OVER YOU ALL.
